The battery is the part no chip can fix
Apple says the M5 model extends battery life, and it does: 2.5 hours of general use against roughly two hours on the 2024 model, and three hours of video playback. But look at that figure honestly. A device that costs more than a MacBook Pro runs for about the length of one film, from a 353 g pack that sits in your pocket on the end of a cable.
This is the structural problem with the entire product, and it is the reason the fabricated "six hours" claim is so revealing. Six hours would change what the Vision Pro is for.
