About
I'm Umut Ertugan.
I write about technology — short notes, long analyses, the occasional column. One editor, three screens, no algorithms.

What sits on the bench.
Artificial Intelligence
A short note on this beat — what I look for, what I skip, what I focus on.
Software

Hardware

The bench
How I write.
Before writing: a note, a walk, a coffee. Then seven open tabs.
Reading
First 20 minutes: quiet reading — RSS + archive.
Note-taking
From everything I read, I try to extract one sentence.
Drafting
First draft is fast and wrong. Second is slow and right.
Feedback
Before publishing I send to two people. Not three.
